SHOPPING WITH COLLINS COMMUNICATIONS On this website, we sell two-way mobile radios for delivery to
United Kingdom addresses. We accept payment in pounds sterling by major credit cards, and by UK debit cards. Other
customers please contact us with your requirements.
Consumer Protection When shopping as a consumer on this website you have the full protection of the
UK Distance Selling Regulations. This requires us to provide full information about pricing and delivery arrangements,
and how you may contact us in order to resolve any problems. Your rights include a
right to cancel your order for any reason within 10 working days of delivery of the goods. Please see below for more details.
Pricing All prices on this site include United Kingdom VAT at the current rate of 17.5%. A VAT
receipt will be provided on receipt of your order. A flat-rate delivery charge of £12.50 will be added
to your order immediately before payment. Special offers will be available from time to time. The prices of
these promotional items will last as long as the promotional stock lasts. We reserve the right to promote products from
time to time for pre-determined time periods as and when we like. We reserve the right to adjust our prices as and when
we need to, to account for price increases from our suppliers. In the event of a price indication error we will adjust
the price accordingly whether or not the order has been confirmed in writing and make contact with the consumer to
inform them and offer them the chance to cancel the order. If this is case the consumers "right to cancel" will not be
affected.
How to shop The site uses a 'shopping basket' method. To buy an item, fill in the quantity
required, and click the 'Add to Basket' button. Click the 'Continue' or 'Back' button if you wish to continue shopping
for more items. At any stage click the 'Basket' button to see your current purchases. You can also delete items or
change the quantity. When you have completed shopping click the 'Checkout' button and you will see the full details and
cost of your order, including the delivery charge. Click 'Process Order' to place your order and proceed to the payment
page.
Payment Your payment will made using the secure online credit and debit card payment service
provided by Secure Trading. We accept Visa, Master, Delta and Switch. We do not see your credit card details. You will
be sent an email confirming the details of your order and payment.
Delivery Once the order has been received we will process that order in 2-3 working days and have
the goods delivered within 3-5 working days. Delivery is by City Link and will be during normal working hours. Please
contact us before ordering if you would like alternative delivery arrangements.
Goods described as 'Professional' require programming before delivery according to the terms of your Ofcom
licence. In such cases we will contact you, when possible the next working day, but
otherwise within 2-3 working days to ascertain programming details. We will need to see a copy of your License Schedule
which you are requested to send us by fax, email or post.
Goods out of stock If the goods ordered are out of stock we will attempt to re-stock within 2-3
working days. Once re-stocked we will despatch the goods to meet the 3-5 working days standard delivery time. If our
stockists are unable to meet the time schedule we will contact the consumer to inform them of the estimated delivery
date. If a date cannot be agreed upon the consumer can exercise their right to cancel the order there and then.
Otherwise an offer of "temporary" loan equipment might be issued
Right to Cancel If the consumer (i.e. non-business customer) decides for any reason that the goods
are not required they must inform us of their intent to return the goods in writing within 10 working days of delivery.
If the goods are in anything other than pristine condition there may be a charge to repair/restore the goods to a
saleable condition. The consumer must return the goods to us at their own cost. The goods must be insured to the
necessary value to cover losses if they are damaged or lost in transit. The responsibility of the goods is down to the
consumer completely until they reach our premises. Once we have inspected the goods we will issue a refund to the
cardholders account.
After-sales Service All products are sold with the full manufacturers warranty. This covers labour
and parts for a minimum of 12 months on all new stock. Collins Communications will act as the agent for the consumers
to go between the manufacturer and themselves. If a claim is to arise the consumer must provide proof of purchase.
Privacy Policy After fulfilling your order, we keep a record of your contact details. We may send
you occasional marketing messages. You will be able to opt out of receiving these at any time. We do not give your
details to anyone else. |
